CMF is proud to be in partnership with AMECA in providing bursaries to medical students in Malawi. Students in Malawi are often unable to afford the cost of medical school fees. As a result, they sometimes simply abandon their studies or are denied the opportunity to ever take up their places.
AMECA has been working with the government, established medical schools, hospitals, and medical staff in Malawi for over 15 years on sustainable healthcare initiatives and a student sponsorship program.
CMF’s bursary will cover tuition fees, and any boarding costs. They will also provide a laptop and bookbag, as many students have neither. In the picture, medical students sponsored by AMECA who just received their CMF book bags.
