Setting: Clinic
Role: Depending on your area of expertise and interest, volunteers will be matched with the best-suited option. Tasks may include: Conducting health and hygiene workshops in rural schools; measuring patients vital signs; Shadowing doctors in procedures; Organizing the clinic’s pharmacy; Patient diagnosis assistance; Participating in medical outreach campaigns in villages; and teaching indigenous families in rural areas about basic health measures and nutrition.
Time Commitment: 4-24 Weeks

Requirements: Provide a clear criminal background check, CV with credentials and education, in related health field, passport and speak basic Spanish.
Cost: Costs range from $1,493 CAD to $4,930 CAD. Volunteers are also responsible for their own airfare, travel insurance, and spending money (and visas & permits where required).
