Setting: Medical Outreach – Villages

Role: During your medical outreach program, you will be testing patients for HIV, hCG and Malaria. Volunteers also treat many illnesses and infections, such as: URIs, UTIs, and STIs, GI infections, skin infections and wounds. The team provides families with the necessities to prevent future malaria infections and hand out mama kits to expectant mothers.

Time Commitment: 2-50 Weeks

Requirements: Provide proof of nursing education, Criminal Background Check, 2 references required, and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (Visa & Permit also, where required).

Cost: Costs range from $551 CAD to $13,770 CAD. Volunteers are also responsible for their own airfare, travel insurance, and spending money (and visas & permits where required).
