Setting: Hospital ER
Role: You will attend both simple and complex procedures being expertly executed by African surgeons without the advanced systems of the west. Areas of work can include the following: Trauma; severe, serious and minor injuries; Theatres: Minors & Majors; Obstetrics: C-sections; and Outpatients and Accident and emergencies: patients coming in from the community with various injuries.

Requirements: Volunteers are required to have a clear criminal record check; CV, proof of education and relevant certifications, and completed education in related studies. (Visa & Permit also, where required).
Cost: $150 Registration Fee, Program fees range from $1,033 CAD to $2,508 CAD. Volunteers are responsible for flights, travel insurance and vaccines. (and visas & permits where required).
