Setting: Clinics
Role: Nurses will shadow and assist with checkups, take vitals, triage patients and prepare medical equipment, etc.
Time Commitment: Min. 1 Week
When: Ongoing; Starts on the 1st and 15th of every month
Application Deadline: Ongoing
Requirements: Volunteers must be a fully certified Nurse or Nursing Assistant or Midwife.
Cost: From CA $481 per week, (and a Registration Fee of approx. CA $454); Volunteers are also responsible for: Visa, flights, travel insurance (mandatory), vaccinations, criminal background check, lunch and dinner, public transport to and from your placement each day and return to the airport when your program finishes.
