Setting: Clinic
Role: Suitably trained and experienced volunteers will perform surgical procedures, fulfilling a huge need for this work in the region where there are insufficient numbers of medical staff. Some tasks may be: Performing medical procedures and consultations as appropriate to the volunteer’s skills and training, and more.
Time Commitment: 1-12 Weeks
When: Ongoing; Programs start every Sunday.

Requirements: Education in related field, provide a criminal background check, emergency contact and resume.
Cost: Costs range from $791 CAD to $4,036 CAD. Volunteers are also responsible for their own airfare, travel insurance, and spending money (and visas & permits where required).
