Setting: Clinic
Role: You will partner with a small community hospital to care for the sick in the community. Some of the more common diseases in this area include malaria, Chikungunya, dengue fever, and TB. Other chronic conditions include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancers, and chronic respiratory diseases. The team will consult in the hospital, provide sustainable education based on needs as identified by the hospital, and partner with community health agents to educate local community members on how to stay healthy and how to care for their loved ones.
Time Commitment: 1 week
When: July 24-27, 2024. More dates are added regularly.

Requirements: Valid medical or nursing license and proof of expertise in the area of specialty. Meet travel and immunization requirements. Teams are required to be adaptable to rapidly changing conditions and have an understanding that rapid response teams require strength and compassionate care and service.
