PEGASUS Institute presented its first mentorship session “Networking for Success” that took place March 27, 2024—sponsored by the Canadian Medical Foundation. Three panelists, Mejdi Alkhushi, Janet D’Souza, and Sahar Zohni talk about the nuances of networking to have a successful career.
- Mejdi Alkhushi is a dedicated Employment Specialist with a strong track record of supporting internationally trained professionals—especially in healthcare—navigate the Canadian labor market and achieve meaningful employment.
- Sahar Zohni is Manager at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario , National Newcomer Navigation Network – Vice President Innerwheel Ottawa-District 707
- Janet D’Souza is a former internationally educated health professional. She trained as a Physician in India and was completing her first year in obstetrics in Gynecology when she moved to Canada. She then completed the required exams to practice in Canada.
