Dr. Ruth Collins-Nakai

“I challenge my colleagues to join me as a donor to the Canadian Medical Foundation. I give monthly; others give annually. Choose what is best for you, but be sure you give and we can support each other.”

– Dr. Ruth Collins-Nakai, Past Chair, CMF

Dr. Maguir

“I grew up in England during the war and the middle class was broke. We got our education with grants, not loans. I don’t know how these young people manage with huge loans.”

Through a bequest in her Will, Dr. Maguire set up a bursary to help medical students today and to support physicians wanting to volunteer overseas—the very first endowed fund at the Canadian Medical Foundation that will grow and pay dividends long after she has gone.

Dr. Ian Warrack“We are all caring people as physicians, and we should care about each other, as well as caring about our patients and the care we provide”

This is why Dr. Ian Warrack made a pledge to support the Canadian Medical Foundation’s programs.
