PEGASUS Institute in partnership with the CMF presented a webinar “Clinical Career Pathways Beyone CaRMS and PRA” that took place Tuesday, 10th September 2024—sponsored by the Canadian Medical Foundation. Attendees participated in a free webinar discussing clinical career pathways beyond licensure and practice readiness assessments. They gained insights into healthcare workforce integration and clinical research beyond WES.
Speakers:
- Irina Edilova, IEHP Advisor, Ontario Health Healthcare Workforce Integration. Irina helps internationally educated healthcare professionals and non-regulated healthcare profession to find alternative career options in Canada.
- Andre Williams, York University, SCS Clinical Research Beyond WES. Andre has a Master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies, his fascination with digital innovation has led him to research surrounding Micro-Credentials, and Digital Badging Technologies. His interest lies particularly in the ways in which educational technologies can support a culture of lifelong learning and information articulation that travers institutional and industrial boundaries.
- Paolo Varias, was an Associate Director, Niagara Region Human Resources in Healthcare and has started a new position as Director of Seniors Services at Niagara Region. Paolo has more than ten years of experience in the healthcare sector and is passionate about enhancing the quality of life and well-being of older adults and vulnerable populations.
