Canadian Medical Foundation Partners with the Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society International Education Foundation to Improve Surgery Safety Globally!
The Canadian Medical Foundation (CMF) is pleased to be partnering with the Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society International Education Foundation (CAS IEF) to promote safe surgery worldwide by educating anesthesia providers!
Since 1996, CAS IEF has been active in making anesthesia available to people living in developing countries. CAS IEF’s philosophy is to help anesthesia providers in developing countries to create their own self-sustaining programs appropriate to their specific country’s needs. Local government ministries of health work in consultation with anesthesia providers and designated training centres to develop programs that enable trained health care workers to provide much-needed anesthesia services.
CAS IEF is currently supporting anesthesia education in Guyana, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Nepal.
CMF is partnering with CAS IEF to raise the funds needed to continue supporting this important initiative, as part of our medical outreach program. Funds raised by CMF for the CAS IEF Fund will go directly towards supporting CAS IEF’s efforts to promote safe surgery globally.
Please help us ensure safe surgery is accessible for those who need it, no matter where they live. Please make a contribution here, and comment that your donation is for the CAS IEF Fund.
